Voiceless is an Australian think tank dedicated to raising awareness of animal suffering, particularly in factory farms and the kangaroo industry. They work to improve legal protections for animals in Australia by building the animal law movement, advising and lobbying politicians at all levels of government, and advocating for change through parliamentary processes.
Voiceless also builds the animal rights movement by conducting public outreach, hosting lectures, community education, and e-activism campaigns. Many of these campaigns involve a mix of collaboration with other animal groups, political lobbying and high-level advocacy, with recent campaigns focusing on sow stalls (gestation crates), live export, and ag-gag legislation. Finally, Voiceless conducts independent research on animal industries and animal law, and offers grants and prizes to those working to raise awareness of animal suffering in Australia.
