Natalia Hanson is the marketing coordinator for Humane Canada’s Summit for Animals, the premier conference for the Canadian animal welfare sector. With a background as a veterinary assistant and expertise in public relations, marketing, and communications, Natalia has been part of Humane Canada since 2016, contributing to various initiatives.
Beyond her role with Humane Canada, Natalia is the founder and executive director of Colombianimals, a nonprofit dedicated to addressing dog and cat overpopulation issues through sterilization efforts in her native Colombia. She has also volunteered in Kenya and Ghana with Veterinarians Without Borders and the Canadian Animal Assistance Team in the Dominican Republic.
