Sandra Lopes is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Compromiso Verde. A trained lawyer with over 15 years of experience in animal advocacy, she has led impactful campaigns across Latin America focused on corporate outreach, cage-free policies, and sustainable food systems. Sandra previously held leadership roles at Mercy For Animals Brazil and Humane Society International. She is passionate about driving systemic change for animals through policy, legal advocacy, and collaboration, and currently leads efforts to eliminate cruel practices in industrial farming throughout the region.
