Sociedade Vegetariana Brasileira (SVB) promotes vegan eating as ethical, healthy, sustainable, and fair. Their mission is to replace animal proteins with plant-based proteins, expand access to vegan products and services, and provide information on the feasibility and benefits of vegan diets. SVB has a strong record of implementing institutional meat-reduction programs, replacing millions of meals with plant-based options across schools, hospitals, and solidarity kitchens in Brazil. Their policy work shows significant promise, particularly in shaping national nutritional guidelines and expanding plant-based offerings in the public sector.
