Movement Grants Matching Challenge
The suffering of billions of farmed and wild animals remains largely unseen. Hidden by distance and by design.
ACE’s Movement Grants funds organizations and projects that prioritize novel interventions, help large numbers of animals, and work in regions underrepresented in animal advocacy.
Make your move for animals. Help fund advocates creating change around the world, with every donation doubled for a limited time.
The Problem
Billions of animals suffer each year, out of sight and out of mind. Some are born into industrial systems built for profit. Others live in the wild, yet still bear the consequences of human activity, from habitat destruction to inhumane pest control. In both cases, the suffering is vast, the visibility is low, and the funding to address it is scarce.
Asia accounts for over 90% of global aquaculture production. Around 440 billion farmed shrimp are slaughtered globally every year. Hundreds of millions of rodents are killed annually using anticoagulant rodenticides, which can cause prolonged internal bleeding over several days.
These are the forgotten animals, living in systems hidden from our view, and where suffering is high but support is scarce. If we truly want to reduce animal suffering on a large scale, we must fund work in these overlooked regions. And that’s exactly what ACE’s Movement Grants are designed to do.
