Movement Grants Matching Challenge
We have reached our $300,000 USD goal for our Movement Grants Matching Challenge. But we are not done yet in our efforts to fund promising new projects helping neglected animals around the globe.
Thanks to the support of our friends at Mobius, the first contribution of anyone who makes a new recurring donation to our Movement Grants program will be matched. So, if you sign up for a new $50 monthly donation, your first month’s gift will be doubled!
Act now, because this special opportunity is only available until we reach $10,000 USD! If you have any questions, reach out to us at development@animalcharityevaluators.org.
The Problem
Billions of animals suffer each year, out of sight and out of mind. Some are born into industrial systems built for profit. Others live in the wild, yet still bear the consequences of human activity, from habitat destruction to inhumane pest control. In both cases, the suffering is vast, the visibility is low, and the funding to address it is scarce.
Asia accounts for over 90% of global aquaculture production. Around 440 billion farmed shrimp are slaughtered globally every year. Hundreds of millions of rodents are killed annually using anticoagulant rodenticides, which can cause prolonged internal bleeding over several days.
These are the forgotten animals, living in systems hidden from our view, and where suffering is high but support is scarce. If we truly want to reduce animal suffering on a large scale, we must fund work in these overlooked regions. And that’s exactly what ACE’s Movement Grants are designed to do.
