Recommended Charity Fund
How Does the Recommended
Charity Fund Help Animals?
Each charity supported by the Recommended Charity Fund has been rigorously evaluated based on our charity evaluation criteria. When you donate to ACE’s Recommended Charity Fund, you’re backing a group of impactful organizations that use the most effective and complementary strategies to aid the animals who need your help right now. 100% of donations to our Recommended Charity Fund go to impactful animal charities, with no deductions taken for ACE operations (which are funded separately).

Distributions
The Recommended Charity Fund is disbursed twice per year (in February and August) according to the distribution that our Programs team determines to be the most impactful at that time. Because February’s disbursement falls soon after our annual release of new charity recommendations and August’s disbursement falls soon after our mid-year check on charities’ Room for More Funding, we are able to use current information to guide our allocation decisions.
